The Reel Keel™ is hand-crafted in Canada with parts from America to make it a North-American product. The Reel Keel™ is distributed worldwide into fishermen's tackle boxes to be cast into lakes, rivers, oceans, and streams. Tackle Corp is the official exclusive Distributor of the products in Canada.

These uniquely hand-crafted top fishing lures are designed to perform, manoeuvre realistically similar to a live bait fish because they have a hard body with life-like swimming action, durability and versatility. Here's what makes the Reel Keel™ so unique:

  • Fishing Lure stays upright and prevents it from spinning
  • Rolls side to side like a live bait fish.
  • Tail end kicks back and forth like a real fish.
  • Behavior mimics a live bait fish in its natural habitat.
  • The Keel provides enhanced flash on white belly making it more visible to a predator fish.
  • It dives and swims to multiple levels and you can control the depth by moving your rod tip.
  • It's the only lure that will "Walk the Dog" underwater.

In their tackle boxes, attached to their fishing line, fishermen are impressed by the Reel Keel's™ ability to cast from their fishing rods and reel in these prize fish from waterways:

  • Largemouth Bass
  • Smallmouth Bass
  • Lake Trout
  • Musky (Muskie)
  • Walleye
  • Pike

The Reel Keel™ isn't just a fishing lure; it's an entirely new way to fish. Whether you have a cheap rod, poor bass fishing techniques, a used fishing boat, or a cheap fishing reel, The Reel Keel™ fishing lure makes catching that trophy fish easy and fun.

Anglers don't call The Reel Keel™ fishing lures the 'Best fishing lures on the planet' for nothing. You don't need fish finders, unnatural lure feathers, fishing tips or tricks, just cast the lure out there and reel in the big one.

If you are entering a local fishing tournament, creek fishing, deep sea fishing, or are simply river fishing, keep a Reel Keel™ fishing lure handy to tackle your best fishing opportunities during the season for all fish species, including largemouth bass. You may find the Reel Keel™ fishing lure to be the top accessory in your fishing tackle box, trout fishing supplies, or a compliment to your fly fishing gear.

Therefore, the Nu-Ice packs are a great alternative for gas emitting dry ice as our pack do not require special handling, training or costly haz-mat shipping fees.

Additionally, our Phase Change Technology provides superior performance to traditional gel-packs that are water based and have a much sharper temperature discharge rate.

Nu-Ice recommends turning freezer to coldest position or use of a chest freezer to obtain a full charge

Nu-Ice  -- Tips for Better Temperature Retention in your Cooler

Whether you use Nu-Ice alone or to supplement traditional bag ice, many variables can and will affect the ability of your cooler to retain its Sub-Zero temperatures with Nu-Ice. To maximize your cooler performance, follow these simple steps:

  1. Try to start with a cool or chilled cooler. A typical recreational cooler is designed to insulate. Therefore, it will retain heat or cold. So we recommend storing your cooler in a cool, dry place so that your Nu-Ice can keep your payload chilled and is not wasted trying to cool the warm air in the cooler. Another good idea is to pre-chill your cooler with a sacrificial bag of ice or Nu-Ice several hours prior to loading contents.
  2. Add pre-chilled contents to cooler. Again, warm payload items will make your Nu-Ice work harder and discharge faster.
  3. If using ice with your Nu-Ice, select high quality ice. More frozen, solid blocks will help retain a lower temperature and remain frozen longer than less expensive bag ice which often appears wet and hollow. Once loaded, do not drain the water. Please note- the combination of Nu-Ice and ice is recommended for bottled, canned or well sealed foods and beverages.
  4. Cooler should be as full as possible. The chilled contents will maintain their cold temperatures longer if there are no voids in the cooler that will accelerate ice melting and Nu-Ice discharging.
  5. Once packed, the cooler should be kept out of direct sunlight and closed as much as possible. If the cooler is covered with additional insulation (a simple beach towel works) and access is limited to prevent cold air from escaping, you may extend the chill in your cooler by as much as 2 xs.
Simple Cooler Packing Instructions: Frozen Goods: Use as small a cooler a possible, place an appropriately size Nu-Ice on the cooler’s bottom. Then place your frozen items on top of the bottom Nu-Ice. Finally, place an additional Nu-Ice on to of your frozen goods. If the steps above are followed, this technique will keep your goods frozen for days. Additional Nu-Ice packs may be place on the cooler walls in larger coolers or to extend freeze time even longer. Chilled Foods and Beverage: The Combo Technique of Nu-Ice and tradition ice works great for this scenario. Pack as above but tightly fill gaps around contents with ice before inserting the top bag of Nu-Ice.
